The moment you’ve all been waiting for is finally here. It’s time for the CASPER COMIC CON. Returning to the Ford Wyoming Center this summer, get ready for the ultimate comic book & cosplay convention right in the heart of Casper. Of course, this will see the return of the cosplay contest! Turn up in your favorite characters’ most iconic costumes, and stand a chance to win cash prizes of up to $1000! There will be contests for both adult and kids categories — everyone’s welcome to join in on the fun! 

All in all, this event is a family-friendly space to celebrate what some people might call ‘nerd culture’, enabling everyone to freely celebrate and express themselves. Not only is this a place to meet fellow fans and cosplay, it’s about community, creativity, and empowerment.

COSPLAY CONTEST

This year’s cosplay contest at the Casper Comic Con is sponsored by the Saylor family. The Adult 1st Place cash prize amounts to $1,000! Other categories and prizes will be announced later on, so watch out! You might be one of the lucky ones to win big as you turn up in your most creative costumes & fits of your favorite characters. Do know that there’s also a Kids contest for ages 14 and under. If you’re a family who loves cosplay, this is your time to shine.

MEET THE HOSTS

First, we have the amazing Charlie Schlatter! Known as the voice behind countless video game and film characters, he’s an accomplished actor and voice artist since his career began in 1987. He’s best known for starring in Dick Van Dyke’s long-running CBS hit series, DIAGNOSIS MURDER. Through his voice, he’s got an extensive list of characters to his name — including Flash in the DC animated universe, Chad in Nickelodeon's Big Nate, Sport in AppleTV's Harriet the Spy, and Sidecar in Netflix’s Hot Wheels: Let's Race!

Next up, we have Kevin M Glover, an indie comic writer/creator — best known for his work as a horror playwright. Winning several awards throughout his career, he’s produced a slew of iconic titles, including DINOSAUR VALLEY GIRLS, VENUS FLYTRAP, LOVE BITES and horror films MUMMY’S KISS, EROTIC RITES OF COUNTESS DRACULA and SISTERHOOD OF THE SHEWOLF. When it comes to his recent comic book masterpieces, we have LADY FRANKENSTEIN, FRACTURED SCARY TALES, THEY’RE HEEERE! and MONSTERS VS.
